THE CLASH Give ‘Em Enough Rope (Very rare 1st issue of the10-track vinyl LP with gold ‘Demo Stamped’ picture sleeve and superrare promotional poster. Obtained from a former music journalist, thispromotional pack includes a 1st issue with ‘Stereo’ arrow indicator andA1/B1 matrices with gold “Property Of CBS Demonstration Copy – NotFor Sale’ text stamped on the reverse. Also included is the huge 36″ x24” double-sided poster entitled “The Clash Atlas Of Give ‘Em EnoughRope” detailing the world’s late ’70s political hot-spots [Rhodesia,Northen Ireland, Mozambique, Lebanon etc] alongside a super-coolband portrait on the other side. The sleeve shows a little wear andsome faint hand-writing markings can be seen if held under stronglight [in fact, it’s a message to the journalist who owned the album!],the vinyl looks barely played. The poster has been folded but hasnever been displayed and is free of any marks, tears etc. A topClash/punk collectable and the first we have ever had!)
