Sydney Joe qualls is a southern born soul singer who was heavily influenced by Al Green and Sam dees but had a sound and quality of his own. He signed to Dakar Records to release his debut album with a variation on the spelling of his first name. ‘So sexy’ Is one of the great soul albums released in 1979 on chi-sound recordings, where he masterfully sings 8 soul numbers including the cult classic ‘I don’t do this’. Reissued on classic Black vinyl with original artwork and printed inner sleeve.
