The Canadian band previously known as Viet Cong and formed by members of the late band Women release their second LP and the name change has coincided with a change in sound. Their brand of post-punk has turned darker still and even more claustrophobic. Opening track ‘Anxiety’ paves the way for the feel of the record – tracks built on nervous energy and a dark atmosphere which ebb and flow unexpectedly from sinister synths to gruelling guitars.
