JULY July (Ultra Rare 1968 UK 12-track MONO vinyl LP on the ‘deepgroove’ Major Minor label; this superb release went largely unnoticedat the time, but is now held in the same high regard as Tomorrow,Blossom Toes, The Koobas and many other luminaries of the UK 60spsych scene, with awesome biting guitar, rich harmonies, sitar,bongos, and above all, inventive songwriting, front laminated picturesleeve. The sleeve has just a little laminate lift along the spine and afew light laminate creases, but nothing to interfere with the richcolours of the design; the reverse shows light ringwear with the textall clear and the spine text also clear & legible. The vinyl has just afew light marks picked up from years of storage in its originalpoly-lined inner sleeve, with few actual signs of play other than a fewwhispy spindle marks to the labels, leaving it graded as Excellent.
