Recorded to “break in” new guitarist “Big” John Thomas, this amusingly titled four-track EP contains the last, dying gasps of a once great band. Songs like “Panzer Division Destroyed” and “Lies of Jim (the E-Type Lover)” harken back to the fearless creativity of years past, but the dire “Wildfire” announces Budgie’s future forays into faceless, second-class heavy metal. These songs do not make a very attractive set, but if you must have them, all four tracks have been added to recent CD reissues of the band’s 1981 release Nightflight.
