Godfather Don needs no introduction from us. His debut LP ‘Hazardous’ remains one of the finest examples of golden era hip-hop you are likely to come across, whilst at the same time being criminally under-appreciated upon initial release. ‘On & On’ was slated to be the first single from that album but it never materialised, maybe Select were too preoccupied pushing Kid N Play and Chubb Rock at the time. On the flipside you’ll find another banger from the Hazardous LP, the aptly named ‘Involuntary Excellence’. What more could you ask for on 7″s of wax… essential!
