13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS / VARIOUS ARTISTS Epitaph For ArLegend (2010 issue UK limited edition 27-track 2-CD album set -rFormed in Austin, Texas in 1965, the International Artists label isrbest known for the 13th Floor Elevators’ hit singles and seminalralbums but the label also released a series of groundbreakingrrecords from acts such as The Red Crayola, Lost & Found andrThe Golden Dawn. The label’s success was down to therleadership of Lelan Rogers [brother of the country star Kenny].rUnder Rogers’ guidance, the label embraced the revolutionaryrnew psychedelic sound that was emerging from the city. ‘EpitaphrFor A Legend’ is a collection of rarities from the label’s cataloguerthat Rogers compiled in 1980 for a double vinyl release. Thisrdeluxe reissue comes complete with a 40-page picture bookletrwith extensive liner notes from The Mole (aka
